Robert A. Gross, 43

Robert A. Gross, 43, of Millersville died at his residence on Saturday, September 27, 2008. Born in Ocean Port, N.J., he was the son of Franklyn W. and Helen Hilbert Gross of Lancaster. Rob was married to Belinda Hotchkiss-Gross. He was a self employed General Contractor and a 1983 graduate of Lancaster Catholic High School.

Surviving besides his wife and parents are two children: Tyler Joseph Gross, Margaret Elizabeth Gross, both at home, a brother; Raymond husband of Lisa Gross, Lancaster, three sisters: Dolores wife of Steven Henry, Conestoga, Kathryn wife of Joseph Glessner, Lancaster, Julie wife of Tom Rishel, Muncy, PA and eight nieces and nephews.

Friends are invited to pay their respects to the family on Wednesday evening, October 1, 2008 from 6-8PM at the Charles F. Snyder Funeral Home, 441 N. George Street, Millersville, PA. A private mass will be held for the family. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in Rob’s memory to the Tyler and Maggie Gross Trust Fund at PNC Bank, 101 Wabank Road, Millersville, PA 17551. Rob you have always been there for me and my kids.  We loved being around you and you always made us laugh and feel very comfortable.
We will miss you so much and everyone knew you were such a wonderful father and uncle to my kids. My sincerest sympathy to Tyler, Maggie, and Belinda, we love you.  Karol, Danielle, Matt Gross.
 

I was saddened to read of Bob’s passing.  He and I were former classmates. I have great memories of him.  This year we will be celebrating our 25th class reunion.  He will be in our thoughts and prayers.

Dear Belinda
Just wanted you to know that you are in our thoughts and prayers at this time. We know it is a time of sadness for you and the kids. We were saddened by Rob’s passing. Rob was a nice person and was well liked. He was easy to chat with and he was always there to lend a helping hand when needed. We all care about you and the kids and want you to know that we are here for you and them if you need us. I am putting all of you on my daily prayer list. If you need us for anything, please call. Dear Maggie and Tyler
We are so sorry that your beloved Dad has passed. He loved you guys very much and he tried to show you that everyday. Keep the good times in your mind daily and keep your Dad’s memory close in your heart. Surround yourself with good memories of your Dad. When things get a little tough remember that you have friends close by who you can call anytime. Tyler – if you just need to be with a friend, call Jonah. Come up and hang out with us. We would be glad to have you. You too Maggie! Try and be strong for each other. Hold each other up and support each other…because family is important. Our prayers are with you.
