Richard Wayne Bowman

On February 8, 2019 Richard Wayne Bowman, age 60 passed from this life into eternal life, to meet his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.

Surviving are two sons, Richard Cory, and Cody Wayne of Florida, who he was most proud of, a sister, Linda, wife of Stanley Klaniecki of Florida, and a brother Tom Bowman of York, Pennsylvania.

He is also survived by 2 nieces, 4 nephews, 2 grand-nieces and 3 grand-nephews along with many special cousins and friends.

Rick had a love of music and often referred to it as the universal language. He played drums and keyboard in many bands and enjoyed singing karaoke.

He was also a graphic artist and craftsman, owning his own business, Covered Bridge Customs, for over 40 years. He had many award-winning trophies for painting motorcycles for customers. Along with being an artist, he also wrote articles for various graphic arts publications in order to share his artistic and craftsman knowledge with others.

Out of the countless works of art created by Rick throughout his career, he always said his best creations were his two sons, Cory and Cody Bowman.

His patriotism ran deep for his country and he loved all animals. He frequently helped his online friends in the Philippines with their schoolwork.

A celebration of his life will be planned for a later date.

I had no idea Rick has passed. He was a great guy with so many talents. Back in the 90’s he painted 2 huge signs for us for our business. His heart was big and his talents many, He will be missed. RIP now Rick.

I worked with him for many years. Great guy. We always teased about going out as a couple because we had the same last name. That way we would could sign as Mr and Mrs. Never happened, but we were pretty good friends. Rest in peace Rick.
