Dear Sue and Family – I was shocked to hear of Rick’s passing. He always seemed so vibrant it was hard to believe! Our thoughts and prayers are with you and your daughters. Take comfort in the good memories of Rick’s life, and especially his deep love and dedication to you all! I have to smile when I think back to our childhood visits to Aunt Margie and Uncle Jack’s, and remember how I looked up to my older cousins. Ricky was around more than Jackie, so I have more memories of him. He always seemed cheerful, with that great smile of his (like his Mom’s) and quick wit. I’m sure I was pretty annoying, but Ricky didn’t seem to mind. He was definitely very cool with his drums, and he was happy to show off his skills! Over the years we didn’t see each other very often. When we did cross paths, Rick would remember the last time we talked and pick right up where we left off! He could never say enough about his family! He loved you all very much! Take care — the sadness will pass — and remember the good times. God Bless!

Sue & Family – We all were shocked when we heard the news about Rick! Our thoughs and prayers go out to you, your daughers and their families. We will always remember Rick’s good nature, wonderful smile and sense of humor (like his Mom’s). Rick was an older cousin and I always admired him. I’m sure I was annoying when we visited Aunt Margie & Uncle Jack’s, but Rick never seemed to mind. He was definitely very cool with his drums in the downstairs family room, and would happily show off his skills! I regret not having kept in closer contact over the years, but when we did cross paths, Rick would remember the last time we talked and pick right up from there! He could never say enough about you and his girls. He loved you all very much! Take care and God Bless.

Dearest Rick and Family, remembering the joys of our youth we think of you, Ricky, and smile.Such lovely memories of our neighborhood, The Goch’s, The Barbushes, Mr. White with his amazing Christmas display, little Biffy, your smiling dog delighting in greeting everyone. It was a cozy world back then. Like your Dad, you played the drums I recall. How patient and kind your Mom, Marg was. We all crammed into your brother, Jack’s little blue Volkswagen rather than take the bus to Middletown High School. So glad at Ginny Ann’s wedding , we met again. You and your wife, were so in love with each other and the two little girls you told us about. The Clarke family wishes your wife, girls and Jack, comfort and peace. Your Mom, Dad, and Biffy are with you now and our prayers with all who must miss you so.
