Condolences to the Family

I remember meeting Ric when I was working with his mom Phyllis at Timoney Knox.  Ric worked there doing odds and ends (like weeding, carrying boxes with files to the basement, actually anything you asked him to do).  I remember Ric always being very kind hearted and always a pleasure to be able to talk to.  Phyllis, Ric, and I would do lunches together and it was nice to be able to enjoy each others company on a personal level.  We shared some laughs and good conversation.  Many times in the past couple of years, I would have loved to gotten together with he and his mom.  Life took us in different directions.  I will carry on my fond memories of Ric with me in my heart.  I know the loss of his daughter had to be very painful for him because of the joys he shared with his niece and nephews.  Ric and Claudia are together and may they be enjoying each others company.  Ric loved his family and friends very much.  He will be greatly missed and may he rest in peace until we meet again.  Sherry

Rick and Phyllis, so sorry to hear of your son’s death.  I know he didn’t know me, but your family has always been special to me.  Remember the good times and that God has a special place for him in Heaven.  Love, Yvonne Donley

My life will never be the same with the passing of my son. My son was a lover of comic books and superheroes. His love of comics led him to meet Joe and Doug at the comic store. I am grateful to Joe and Doug for their kindness to Ric. He loved them and the store. My son loved history and he and I took a trip to Williamsburg a few years ago and had some good mother-son time. My son and I over the past couple of years spend time painting pottery together. Ric was always outdoing me on the pottery because he had more artistic ability. A part of me left with him. I know that Ric is not suffering any more and he is at peace. God chose me to be Ric’s mom because he knew I would love Ric unconditionally. I love him with my whole heart and will miss him everyday. The pain of him not being here is indescribable. I know that it was God’s plan for Ric to go home now because God doesn’t make mistakes. I know that because God gave me Ric as a son. Watch over me my son and send me a sign that you are ok. I love you. Mom

Thye highpoint of our week was when Phyllls came in every Wednesday to pick up Rick’s “books”.  We are going to miss you guys….So sorry for your loss.
