Richard Lewis “Rick” Weik
December 13, 2021
Richard Lewis “Rick” Weik of Lititz, formerly of Brownstown, passed into his next journey joining God and many family and friends. Rick shared his life with Leslie (Clymer) Weik for 39 years and their children; Stephanie Caudill (Scott) of Brownstown, Shelly Reheard (Josh) of Ephrata, and Richard R. Weik (Katie) of Brownstown, and his greatest joy, his grandchildren; Bailey, Cody, Hannah, and Waylon.
His passions included spending time with family and friends, cars, trucks and motorcycles, camping, and telling great lifelong stories. There was nothing Rick could not fix from automobiles to equipment to houses, but the one thing he couldn’t was his leukemia.
A Celebration of Life will be held December 19, 2021 at 6:00pm at Charles F. Snyder Jr. Funeral Home & Crematory, 3110 Lititz Pike, Lititz, PA 17543. Guests will be received starting at 5:00pm. What can I say that family and friends don’t already know? Rick was a special man, he and I forged a friendship soon after his first week at Forklifts Inc. We could talk about anything, mostly about antique cars and hot rods, camping stories at Starlight, and our families. He was so very proud of his childrens accomplishments. He had such a servants heart, never turning down a job or a repair for someone. I will never forget his act of love when he fixed my daughters car and would not take any money. I’m sure he Turned down other “paying jobs”, it was his nature just to help those in need. I’m so sorry for your loss, we will all miss Rick dearly. I’m thankful I had a chance to say goodbye to him two weeks ago. He was so very strong throughout his journey but knew his time was short. I loved him like a brother , a true friend to me.
