Raymond J. Landon, Jr., 87, of Lititz, passed away on Wednesday, April 26, 2017.
He was the husband of the late Jeanette Landon, who passed away in 2009. Born in Windsor, PA, he was the son of the late Raymond J. and Molly Tyson Landon.
Raymond was a graduate of Johns Hopkins University, where he studied politic economy and history. He then entered ROTC and served during the Korean War as a 1st Lt. in the Infantry and later in Military Intelligence. He was the recipient of the Korean Service Medal with 3 bronze star attachments and the Combat Infantry Badge. Upon his discharge, Raymond began a lengthy career for AT&T, rising to the position of vice president until leaving the company. He then studied at the Widener School of Law and graduated in 1992 with a law degree.
Raymond established a law practice in Lancaster, having offices on North Lime St. with attorney Francine Taylor, and later in the Griest Building in Lancaster city.
Raymond loved his dogs.
He was the last of his immediate family.
