Raymond H. Leh, 97

Raymond H. Leh, 97, of Willow Street, passed away Wednesday, November 15, 2017 at Arbor View at Willow Valley. Born in Whitehall Twp., Lehigh County, he was the son of the late Burton and Gertrude Henninger Leh. He was the loving husband of the late June S. Banks Leh with whom he shared 69 years of marriage at the time of her passing in October, 2015.
Raymond was a member of the U.S. Army, having honorably served his country during WWII, and having earned the Good Conduct Medal, the European-African-Middle Eastern Campaign Medal with 4 Bronze Stars, and the Victory Medal. He worked in Corporate Taxes at Lehigh Portland Cement Company in Allentown, PA, from where he retired after 42 years of service. He was a member of Willow Street United Church of Christ.
Raymond is survived by two goddaughters, Jill Swavely of Philadelphia, and Jessica Carlson of Wilmington, DE.
Graveside services for Raymond will be held on Tuesday, November 21, 2017, at 11:00 AM at Conestoga Memorial Park Mausoleum, 95 Second Lock Road, Lancaster, PA, 17603. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Raymond’s memory may be offered to the Veterans of Foreign Wars, 219 Walnut Hill Road, Millersville, PA 17551
