Ray S. Huber, 87

Ray S. Huber, 87, of Lititz, passed away Monday, October 20, 2025 at UPMC Lititz Hospital. Born in Elizabeth Twp., Ray was the son of the late P. Elmer and Mabel Erb (Shreiner) Huber.
A 1956 graduate of Warwick High School, he went on to earn his bachelor’s degree in teaching at West Chester College in 1960. Ray taught History and Social Studies for 20 years at Garden Spot High School. After retiring, he took a job as a courier for Truist Bank for the next 20 years.
A diehard sports fan, Ray enthusiastically cheered on all the Philadelphia sports teams. He enjoyed playing baseball and basketball. He also enjoyed traveling and took a world tour during one of his summer breaks.
Surviving Ray are his brothers, Larry S. Huber, with whom he lived, and Dale S. Huber, husband of Dorothy, of Macungie, PA. He is also survived by his four nephews, Stephen Huber, Macungie, Scott Huber, husband of Sarah, Mount Dora, FL, Robert Huber, husband of SarahKate, Macungie, and Brian Huber, Bethlehem, PA; great nephew Liam Huber, Macungie and great-niece, Sofia Huber, Macungie.
Ray was preceded in death by his brother, Elmer S. “Pete” Huber and his aunt, Susan Hess.
Funeral Services for Ray will be private with interment at Hammer Creek Mennonite Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions in Ray’s memory may be made to Hammer Creek Mennonite Church, 590 Hammer Creek Rd., Lititz, PA 17543.

I am saddened to hear of Mr Huber’s passing. He was my 8th grade American history at Garden Spot, and one of the best. He truly cared about his students and I owe my knowledge of American history to his expertise. RIP Mr. HuberMy condolences to his family. Praying you will be comforted in your grief and loss.
