I still cannot believe Radford is gone. He was named after the ship that rescued our father after it was torpedoed in “Battle of Kula Golf” July 6,1943. The USS RADFORD saved some of the men floating in the oily water after the ship was blasted apart. He was so funny & good looking as a teen. I thought he looked like a young Nicholas Cage. I thought he was a heroic young man for serving near the DMZ In DaNang, VietNam for 6 years in the late 60’s. I thought the war took a toll on him. He was a diligent loyal worker for 35 years at the same printing company. I am greatfull that he had some good friends in Lancaster. I hope & pray he is in a better place free of discomfort & pain. Much Love to my older brother, Linda Frimd Shook
