Nina, you know how much we all loved Philip and how he cherished you.  Remember the time I told him to stop buying you so much jewelry.  You bumped me and said to be quiet!  We met at a cooking class, and as the Lord would have it, I knew Les and could meet you.  We were watching a cooking show; I mentioned a book I was going to send for, and of course, he got it for me.  I am so honored to have known Philip.  He is an example for me to enjoy every day the good Lord gives me. He did and without any complaint.  You are in my heart and prayers.  If I call or text too often, just tell me you are busy!!!  love and blessings, Pat
Note:  I tried to tell this at his funeral, but couldnt finish.

My heart and prayers go out to the Pace Family for your loss.  Nina, Phil was the best Husband for you and very hilarious too!  On my visits to your lovely home, one could tell how much Phil adored you and wanted to “move the heavens and earth” to make you happy.  Life was never a dull moment.  He was Mr.  Entertainer til the end!  Phil was so concerned about you and held on as long as he could.  I believe Phil bargained with the Lord for more time experiencing life with you.  But now…He is freed from the hardships of this cruel world.  Rest In Peace my Brother!  We love you Sister,  Sharon White-Cody and Louise White

As I reflect back on my years working with Phil, I think of all the wonderful stories and lunches we enjoyed together. I was also aware of the terrible agony he faced from the horrible disease he had. Now he does not hurt anymore.
