Pearl E. Flynn, 89
Pearl E. Flynn, 89, of Lancaster, died at Lancashire Hall on Saturday, May 22, 2010. Born in Lancaster, she was the daughter of the late Harry and Margaret Stoy Keller. Her husband William E. Flynn, Jr. died in 1992.
Sgt. Flynn served in the Women’s Army Corps with SQ W 327 AAF BU during World War II. Pearl then worked for Polan Katz Umbrella Factory in Lancaster for 30 years and then did house cleaning at Commonwealth Bank for 11 years. She was a member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church.
Surviving are her children Roselyn Shaub and William E. Flynn, III, both of Lancaster; 3 grandchildren; 6 great-grandchildren; and her siblings George and Ronald Keller of Lancaster, Ernest Keller of Florida and Melva Good of Millersville. Her siblings Harry and Charles Keller and Lucille Homsher preceded Pearl in death.
A Viewing will take place on Wednesday, May 26, 2010, from 9-10 AM, followed by the Funeral at 10 AM with The Rev. Leo M. Goodman, III as celebrant, at the Charles F. Snyder Funeral Home, 414 E. King St., Lancaster, PA. Interment in St. Joseph’s New Catholic Cemetery. Please omit flowers.
