Dear Carol and family,

I was deeply saddened to see the passing of your father. I’d just seen him not long ago and had such a delightful chat, as always. I worked with your dad at hanore homes and we remained friends since then.

Your dad was a gentle loving man. I know how much he loved his children as he spoke of you all so much.

He will be missed by many I’m sure. I send you my prayers and keep you in my thoughts. And I loved his birdhouses, I would see them on my drive at times.

God Bless you and yours.

Karen (Frey) Blevins

At this sad time when there is little anyone can do, May you know that many understanding thoughts are there with you.

With Sincere Sympathy,

Paul’s niece, Debbie Boehler

Dear Doug, Carol and family,

I am truly sorry to hear of Uncle Paul passing. Uncle Paul always reminded me the most of my dad. (Alvin Jr.) What little I saw of Uncle Paul he was always happy and smiling. You all have so many great memories of him and you will always cherish them until you see him again one day. You are all in our prayers.

Love & Prayers,

Tammy Wingert (Dombach)

Tina called me and told me Uncle Paul has passed away and I Pray that God will comfort all of you at this time. We know full well what you are going through. I wish we could of all seen much more of each other over the years. Those miles really cut back on that. We talk so much of having a Family Reunion for some reason or another it never happens. But, know that we are praying for you all at this time and May God use this in all our lives to refresh the ones that know Him (God) and bring back the ones that don’t. We all have a purpose in this world, we don’t always know what it is, but God has a plan and as long as we live our lives to Glorify God. His plan will be fulfilled. Praise God even in sad times for the work that can be done even today.

We love you all and continue to Pray for you

Tonya and Mike Kirkpatrick
aka Alvin’s daughter

OUR THOUGHTS AND PRAYERS ARE WITH THE FAMILY. IT IS HARD WHEN YOUR LOVED ONE PASSES ON AND WE ARE LEFT HERE TO MORN THEM. YOU MUST REMEMBER ALL THE GOOD TIMES AND SPECIAL MOMENTS THAT YOU ALL HAVE SHAARED AND THAT THEY ARE IN A MUCH BETTER PLACE BY FAR THEN WE ARE. REMEMBER YOU WILL ALL MEET AGAIN SOMEDAY AND THINK HOW JOYOUS THAT REUNION WILL BE.

I KNOW THAT YOU WILL MISS PAUL DEEPLY AS I MISS MY MOM AND DADDY, BUT NOW THEY ARE NO LONGER SUFFERING ANY PAIN AND THAT IS WHAT HELPS ME TO GET THRU THE DAYS AND NIGHTS. MY PARENTS USE TO BE YOUR NEIGHBORS IN MILLERSVILLE NEXT TO THE FUNERAL HOME.THEY WERE THE FISHERS’ AMOS AND CHARLOTTE I KNOW TATH OUR PARENTS USE TO HAVE LOTS OF GOOD TIMES THERE.AND I REMEMBER HOW PAUL WAS ALWAYS A JOKESTER.

TAKE CARE AND MAY GOD BLESS YOU ALL.

FROM,

PAULETTE AND BOB GRIMSEY AND SISTERS ERNA AND CAROLINE AND THEIR FAMILIES

Doug, Carol and family,

Cousin Marty called and informed me of the death of Uncle Paul. I was so sorry to hear the news. I truly understand what your going through. Your father was a good man. He truly loved his family. When we had talked, he talked with such pride for all of you. I just wish we could of been closer. Those miles between us make it so difficult to spend time together. I am praying for your mother and all of you. I am not sure I will make the service as of yet. I do want you to know that your in my heart and prayers.

Dear Carol and Family,

I was so sad to see you Father’s Obituary in the paper this morning. I can still see you Father dropping off "stuff" at my back door. Your Father was truly a kind, remarkable person. I know you loved him dearly and will miss him. I will say a parayer for all of you.
