Patrick Hainey

Patrick Hainey, of Millersville died Wednesday at Lancaster Regional Medical Center. He was born in Ayr, Scotland on July 5,1928. He served with the Royal Scots Fusilliers and Royal Hussars. He served his apprenticeship in plumbing and became a master plumber.

He lived in Millersville since 1973. He was the beloved and cherished husband and friend of his wife, Florence. He left a legacy of thankful daughters: Marie Whiteside, Heather Sherman wife of Stephan, Bonnie Hainey Burger wife of Thomas, Bobbi Hainey wife of Carl Neff, and Kelly Hainey Fry wife of Paul.

In addition, he is surrounded by grandchildren: Alison Sherman, Alicia Burger, Courtney Burger, Patrick Sherman, Terry Fry, Shonna Fry, and Daneen Whiteside, and a great grandson, Nathan Shirk.

His life was dedicated to his family who he loved and who loved him in return.

The family would like to thank the doctors and staff at the LRMC for their assistance and devotion.
