Patricia S. Muir, 73
November 07, 2024
I, Patricia S. Muir of Conestoga, PA have made it home after finishing the race that God had me endure. I was graced with 73 years of life filled with friends and family I cherish deeply. I was born in May of 1951 in Flint Michigan to my parents Lonnie and Lurrene McCullough, and my siblings are Robert McCullough, Dawn McCullough, Steven McCullough, and Maxine Leonard. I graduated from Birch Run High School in Birch Run, Michigan.
Professionally, I spent my career as a secretary, receptionist, and also held management positions. I spent time working with the churches that I attended, first Crown of Life Fellowship, and then Empowerment Center. Through them I helped at-risk youth in Harrisburg and was even able to take a group to Wyoming to experience the ranch life. I also enjoy ministering to inmates by writing letters back and forth with them.
I also had passion outside of work. I loved to crochet and cross stitch and passed this hobby on to one of my granddaughters. I found joy in gardening and spending time outdoors along with reading and watching Hallmark movies. I also looked forward to Thanksgiving and Christmas every year, especially the yearly tradition of watching Holiday INN and White Christmas with my daughter Wendy.
My life was filled with moments of joy, laughter, and love. My pride and joy are my son Craig Muir, and my daughter Wendy who is married to Eric Leaman. They blessed me with 6 grandchildren: William Cruz (Alicia), Ashlee Eberly (Colin), Austin Leaman, Kassy Leaman, Paige Muir and Kenneth Leaman. They in turn blessed me with 6 great grandchildren: Peyton, Isaac, Liam, Elliana “Brighteyes”, Esther and Immanuel. They all fill my days with so much love.
I hope those who know me will remember me as someone who always smiled, and rarely complained. Someone who battled hard against cancer and did not give up. Please do not grieve too much for me and know that I am no longer in pain. My time on this earth was made meaningful by the incredible people I met along the way, the love I shared with my family, and the adventures I experienced.
A service to celebrate my life will be held on November 16, 2024, at Charles F. Snyder Funeral Home, 2421 Willow Street Pike, Willow Street, PA at 11am. You are invited to visit with my family from 10am until the time of service. In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to Ann Barshinger Cancer Institute, a cause that was close to my heart.
Thank you for being a part of my journey. Until we meet again

We rejoice that Sister Pat is now in heaven completely made whole, as she celebrates being with our Savior Jesus Christ, the rest of our beloved, and as scripture says, the great cloud of witnesses. May the Lord’s love bring each of you much peace, comfort, and healing during this time. In Jesus, Pastor Gretchen Madea, Crown of Life Fellowship
