Patricia “Pat” A. Landis, 81

Patricia A. “Pat” Landis, age 81 of Lancaster passed away at Hospice and Community Care in Mount Joy on February 24, 2024. Born in Lancaster, she was the daughter of the late Edward and Norma Murphy. She was a graduate of Donegal High School.

Pat was a devout member of St. Leo the Great Catholic Church and was a school aide for many years. She loved children and being around people. When not working, she loved traveling to Cape May Shore, visiting lighthouses and putting together puzzles. Most of all she was a devoted wife, beloved mother, grandmother and great grandmother.

In addition to her devoted husband, John of Lancaster, Pat is survived by her two sons: Michael F. Landis of Lititz, Pennsylvania and Daniel E. Landis (husband of Trisha) of Hoschton, Georgia; six grandchildren: Brady Landis (husband of Samantha), Brock Landis, Brett Landis, Elise Myers (wife of Luke), Carina Landis and Preston Landis and one great grandchild Waylon.

Family will receive friends Monday, March 4, 2024 at St. Leo the Great Catholic Church, 2427 Marietta Ave, Lancaster, PA 17601 from 10am to 11am with a Mass of Christian Burial to begin at 11am. Burial will be held at St. Joseph New Catholic Cemetery at the convenience of the family.

So sorry for your loss. Pat was such a lovely, friendly soul. My daughter was a student at Saint Leo’s from PreK through 8th grade. We have very happy memories of many interactions with Pat. May God bless you as you grieve and heal.
