January 23, 2021
Patricia Ann (Walsh) Schuelkens, 78, of Fleetwood PA, passed away peacefully on Friday January 22, 2021 in Milton S. Hershey Medical Center.
She was the beloved wife of Dennis Schuelkens for 34 years.
Patsy was born in Lansdale PA on October 14, 1942 to the late Joseph P. Walsh Sr. and Elizabeth (Sauer) Walsh.
She was a single mother for many years, working as a waitress, bartender, and factory worker to support and raise her four children on her own.
Later, she was a supervisor at Custom Marine Canvas and a partner in Crisscross Road Bee Yard.
Her greatest riches in life were her family. She loved gardening, cooking, crocheting, and a number of other arts and crafts ventures. Her famous “Grandmom Bags” of gifts for the kids were the highlight of every Christmas Eve.
In addition to her husband Dennis, she is survived by her four children: Frank (Beth) Rocchino of Schnecksville, George (Brenda) Rocchino of Orefield, Bill (Jeanne-Marie) Rocchino of Macungie, and Liz (Mike) Pavlacka of Northampton; ten grandchildren: Aaron (Monica), Felicia (Thomas), Tricia, Gabrielle, Rachel (Justin), Jordan (Caroline), Wil, Nick, Jessica, and Cara; six great-grandchildren: Mason, Pallie, Ryker, Ronin, Gunnar, and Abigail; three sisters: Peggy Campbell, Joan Gaines, and Beth Ann Walsh; one brother Michael Walsh, and many nieces and nephews.
She was pre-deceased by her sister, Mary Lou Calamaro, and two brothers John Walsh and Joseph Walsh Jr.
A Private Family Service will be held at St. Stanislaus Catholic Church, Lansdale, PA. Interment will follow in the church’s cemetery.
