Patricia Ann “Pat” Taylor, 84

Patricia Ann “Pat” (Conklin) Taylor, 84, of Lancaster, died unexpectedly Thursday, March 16, 2017 at Mennonite Home, Lancaster.
Born in Syracuse, NY, she was the wife of Charles “Chuck” W. Taylor of Lancaster, and the daughter of the late DeWitt and Evelyn Conklin.
She was a member of Millersville Community UMC, First Campus, where she sang in the choir for many years.
Pat taught for the Penn Manor School District for 30 years until her retirement.
A beloved wife, mother, and grandmother, she enjoyed reading, cooking, and trips with her family to Florida and Ocean City, NJ.
In addition to her husband of 25 years, she is survived by a son, Doug Riley of Marietta; a daughter, Susan R. Henderson; stepdaughter Holly J. Taylor; and stepson Scott C. Taylor, all of Lancaster; 2 grandchildren: Shelah R. and Derek S. Riley; 1 brother, and 2 sisters. She was preceded in death by 1 brother and 1 sister.
A Memorial Service will be held at 1:00 PM on Tuesday, March 21, 2017 at Millersville Community UMC, First Campus, 121 N. George St., Millersville with Rev. John Laughlin officiating. Friends will be received following the service at the church. Burial will be private at the convenience of the family.
