Pang Houa Yang, 84

Pang Houa Yang, 84, of Reamstown, died Saturday, March 1, 2014 at Reading Hospital.

Born in Xiengkhouang, Laos, he was the husband of Mai (Vang) Yang, to whom he was married 41 years. He was the son of the late Txiaj Tswb and Neng (Moua) Yang.

Pang was a member of Hmong Alliance Church in Leola, and was a farmer by trade.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by eight children: Chia Yang (Nhia) of Stevens, PA; Voua Yang (Xia) of Allentown; Nao Chao Yang (Dia T.) of Denver; Shoua Yang (Houa) of Adamstown; Tong Yang (Tria) of Paris, AR; Chou Yang (Mai Chou) of Tulsa, OK; Bao Xiong of Stevens, PA; and Xee Yang Lor of St. Paul, MN; one sister, Mee Yang Vang of Minneapolis, MN; 38 grandchildren, 35 great grandchildren, and 3 great-great grandchildren. Pang was preceded in death by his first wife, Zuag Moua, who died in 1972.

Funeral services will be held at 11 AM Saturday, March 8, 2014 at Charles F. Snyder, Jr Funeral Home & Crematory, 3110 Lititz Pike, Lititz with Pastor Dao Yang officiating. Friends will be received at the funeral home from 6 to 8 PM Thursday, March 6; from 10 to 12 noon and again from 5 to 8 PM on Friday, March 7; and from 9 to 11 prior to the service on Saturday. Burial will be in Mohler Brethren Church Cemetery in Ephrata.
