Nirda Sanchez, 74

Nirda Sanchez, 74, of Lancaster, passed away on September 29, 2020 at her home with her loving family by her side. Born in San German, PR, she was the daughter of the late Tito Sanchez Rosado and Guillernina Cancel.

Nirda was a long time employee at QVC. She worked as an inductor and retired after 28 years of employment.

A lover of puzzles and Bingo, you could often find Nirda playing games, knitting, or tending to her flowers. Nirda was an incredible cook and enjoyed sharing her cooking with friends and family. She did everything with the radio on and never went anywhere without her coffee. Nirda was traditional in her ways and solid in her routine, especially when it came to grocery shopping on Saturday.

Nirda was devoted to her family. Always firm and fair in nature, her children deeply appreciated all the care she took into raising them. They love her dearly.

She will be missed by her children; Jose L. Ramos (Yolanda), Blanca I. Mendez, William Ramos, Aida I. Ramos, and Jennifer Dennison, her 15 grandchildren, 30 great-grandchildren, her long-time companion, Nephtali Diaz, her extended family, and many friends.

Friends and family are welcome to pay their respects Monday, October 5, 2020 from 6:00-8:00pm at Charles F. Snyder Funeral Home & Crematory, 414 E. King St., Lancaster, PA 17602. A Funeral Service will take place on Tuesday, October 6, 2020 at 11:00am also at Charles F. Snyder Funeral Home. Guests will be received prior to the service starting at 10:00am. Interment will follow services at Mellinger Mennonite Cemetery.
