Words can not express how deeply sorry we are for your loss. My children knew Nigel and talked about him often. They tell me Nigel was a giver, never a taker. He was always there to help no matter what and never asking or needing anything in return. Nigel was a jewel among us – always giving us a shining example of kindness, caring, loving, and fun. God gives us these examples on earth of how we should live our lives. We pray that the bullying students of Centerville Middle School will open their eyes and realize the great loss they’ve encountered.

Andy & Windi
Nigel was such a wonderful guy. There were so many times in karate class he made me smile just by being himself. I am going to miss him dearly in class. My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family!

We were devastated to hear about Nigel. Our son, Aris,  often could be found talking with Nigel after Karate.  They connected and shared many interests. As parents of our own exceptional, bright and beautiful boy,  we share your pain.  Our thoughts and prayers are with you.

Windi, Andrew and Zoya,
I did not know your son/brother but I am a parent of an 8th grade student at Centerville who did know your son.  He has told me several wonderful things about Nigel.  As a parent, I spent many days crying over your loss as I can imagine the pain you are feeling.  I pray that God passes on His peace that passes understanding and in the days, months and years ahead that you feel His love.  From the very bottom of my heart I am deeply saddened by your family’s loss.
Our prayers are with your family.
The Bennett Family

I am an eighth grade student at CMS and saw Nigel every day in the halls as well as at lunch, where he sat at the table next to mine.  Every time that I ever talked to Nigel, he had nothing but positive things to say.  He was a person that always looked on the bright side and never complained.  Nigel was a smart kid and one of the most friendly people I’ve ever met.  He taught me to always look at the good instead of the bad.  My thoughts and prayers are with Nigel’s family.

I am sooooo sorry for the loss of your son Windi, you and your family are in my prayers and in my heart. I miss talking to you and seeing you since I am no longer at Turkey Hill. I really thought of you as a good friend while we knew each other. I know that God is with Nigel now and he is watching over all of you. I know by our conversations your children were No. 1 and you loved them unconditionally. I only got to meet him a few times and I just wanted you to know that you raised a fine boy. He was beautiful! Any time you need a friend know that I will be there for you, I mean that. Please call me 293-1050.
Love always a friend,
Ann Lefever (Turkey Hill 12)

My son knew and very much liked your son Nigel. I’m as heart broken as Giovanni is. I’m sooo sorry for your loss. Giovanni will always remember how Nigel made him laugh. Always in our thoughts, and our family’s prayers.
Giovanni Marchesi (8th) grade

Windi, Andy and Zoya – Nigel was looking down from heaven at the overwhelming show of support and friendship last Tuesday evening . . . and he was smiling broadly, like always.
Susan & Rich

My thoughts and prayers are with you all as you deal with the tragic loss of your son, Nigel.  I did not know Nigel, but my daughters knew Nigel from CMS.  I have felt a sadness ever since I heard of his passing.
Mary Ryan

Windi and family, It’s been years since I’ve seen you, Windi. Gosh, the memories. I wasn’t much older than your son once you and I started running around. I just recently learned of Nigel’s passing and I am devastated for you. I pray for all of you that with every good memory you have of him, a piece of your heart heals. No, you will never go whole again, but God can be your Healer if you allow Him to be. Win, I never stopped thinking about you.
Jes Morrongiello

We send our condolences. My children Kenny and Matt enjoyed going to karate with Nigel. May he be dancing with the angels. We will miss him.
Regards,

Kamm family ;
I hope you guys are doing okay during this tough time. I met Nigel last year when I was in 8th grade and he was such a nice kid. I cried for days after I heard what happened. It’s still hard to believe, he always seemed so happy and always had a smile on. I can’t even imagine what you guys are going through, but I wanted to let you know Nigel changed my life. I look at people more positively and see good in everyone because of Nigel. I’m really sorry for your loss, I hope it slowly gets a little easier soon. Hang in there, Nigel is your guardian angel now.
Much love

Our son Garrett also attends Mimidis Karate and we were very sad to hear about Nigel.  I remember his happy disposition as he and Zoya came up and petted our new dog.  Please know you are in our thoughts and prayers.
May God give you comfort and peace,
The morgans

What a great honor it was to be in both Nigel’s grade & team. I can still remember our moments from elementary to the chess team (in which he was a brilliant teammate) to helloes in the hallways. It was his smile that no person could take. Just one time in 4th or perhaps 5th grade, we were conducting reaction time tests where my partner was none other than Nigel. The instrument of measuring reaction was the number of inches at which the ruler was caught vertically. & he would catch the ruler at 5", 7" or even 13" (it was a foot long). No matter what he never lost that smile. May he continue smiling.

I am an 8th grader at CMS, on the Minutemen team. Last year, I sat next to Nigel in study hall. For about half the year, before our seats were changed, I got a front row seat to his life long message that he was sharing. He told me to always look at the good side, every person has feelings and looks don’t matter, it’s what is inside that counts. I also saw the many people that decided not to listen to him and just guess what he was going to say or do, and then make fun of it. This year, he would hold open the door for about 50 people. Only about 10-20 said thanks the rest just laughed and ignored him. It was impossible to tell when he was truly hurt because of that nice smile that he always had. I was so sad that morning in homeroom. I have never heard the halls so quiet and I have never seen so many people upset. I will truly miss him. God bless.

Dear Kamm Family,
My daughter Ashley was a friend of Nigel’s at Centerville Middle School. She though very highly of him and will miss him terribly. I cannot possibly comprehend what your family is going through but just know that there are many thoughts and prayers for you.
Elizabeth Smith (Ashley Tomlinson’s Mother)

I am a 8th grader at Centerville Middle School.  Not only did I see Nigel in the halls, but I sat at the table next to him during lunch.  Although I did not know Nigel well, he has forever impacted my life.  Nigel never pointed out the bad in others! My prayers and thoughts go out to the Kamm family.

Dear Kamm Family,
My son went to school with Nigel last year. I am very sorry to hear of your loss. I can not imagine the way your family is feeling right now. I lost my father in June and it was very hard to handle. I can not imagine losing a child. Our thoughts and prayers go out to your family. Know god is with you and will get through this very difficult time.
Sincerely,
Scott, Nikki, and Cody Knable

I was deeply saddened when Carla called me to tell me of Nigel’s passing.   I am lost for words but please know that my thoughts and prayers are with you. He is a beautiful boy with a heart melting smile.

To all of Nigel’s family,
We did not know your son but we are also a parents and wish you our sympathies. The world was a good place because of your son and his picture brings smiles to our hearts.
Your family will be in our thoughts and prayers through a time that is more painful then I can imagine.
The Minnicks

I am a Minuetman at Centerville Middle School and sat 2 seats away from Nigel besides seeing him all the time in the school. Nigel was easily the most well-rounded and unique person I have ever met. Nigel saw every one as a friend and their good qualities. Nigel taught me about myself and about others. He changed my life. I will always remember him in prayer. I will attend his funeral as well. May God bless you.

Kamm Family:
I wanted to send my deepest sympathy to you for the loss of your child. My daughter and son knew Nigel.  Of what they have told me he was a smart boy who was his own person no matter what people would say. He had such a bright smile that I am sure will be hard to forget. Words can not express what you are going through. Your family is in our prayers.  I hope the following poem will help you find some comfort.

When You feel Lonely
When a person you love passes away
Look to the night sky on a clear day.
The star that to you, appears to be bright,
Will be your loved one,
Looking upon you during the night.
The lights of heaven are what shows through
As your loved one watches all that you do.
When you feel lonely for the one that you love,
Look to the Heavens in the night sky above.

With Deepest Sympathy & Love
Andie Greene

Our family was deeply saddened to hear the news of Nigel’s passing. Our son Darin was a friend of Nigel since 1st grade.  They got to know each other better over the years. I (Darin’s mom) met Nigel and Zoya while I was their school bus driver for a little. My daughter knows Zoya from being in the same grade. Karly is thinking of you Zoya. Our prayers and thoughts be with you always as this is a sad time for you all. God bless you all during this time and always.

Dear Kamm family,
We did not know your son, nor our we from your school district but we heard of your son’s passing in our church on Sunday.  Please know how many hearts go out to you in your loss and know that so many people are thinking of you and praying for you and your son and the rest of your family.  We pray in this time that God wraps his arms around you and gives you peace that your son sits with Jesus now and will never ever hurt again.  Nigel sounded like a very special child and his brilliant smile comes through in the picture.  God bless you all and may the special memories you have your son never fade.

I knew Nigel barely we never talked but briefly. A year has passed and it still rests on my soul that a unfortunate happening brought the death of a boy my age. Nigel smiled often and seemed happy and i think that the average person should look up too nigel he was an inspiration to be optimistic he made life happy. May God be with u the family and never forget Nigels.
