Nevin Bucher, 70

Nevin Bucher, 70, of Lititz, PA, passed away on Friday, February 27, 2015 at his residence.
Born in Lancaster, he was the son of D. Melvin and Alta Buckwalter Brubaker Bucher of Lititz.
Nevin had been a truck driver for 39 years for the Lester Summers Trucking Company of Ephrata.
He enjoyed motorcycling, driving truck which to him was more than just a job, hunting, and visiting the Middle Creek Wildlife Preserve.
In addition to his parents, he is survived by his children: Sherri Ahrens of Windsor, PA and Keith Bucher of Kingman, AZ married to Jessica Bucher; his grandchildren Cody, Brandon, Bradley, Ashley, and Hunter, and his great granddaughter, Melissa. He is also survived by his siblings: Cletus married to Barb Bucher of Lititz, Thelma married to Calvin Zimmerman of Lebanon, John married to Beth Bucher of Lititz and Judy married to Ron Zimmerman of Lititz; and by his companion, Sue Jones of Tower City.
Services will be private and at the convenience of the family. Nevin will be laid to rest at the Hammer Creek Mennonite Church cemetery, 590 Hammer Creek Road, Lititz PA. 17543. In lieu of flowers, please make contributions in Nevin’s memory to Hospice & Community Care, 685 Good Drive, Box 4125, Lancaster, PA 17604-4125.
