Nathaniel Lamar Owens, 38

November 11, 2023

Nathaniel Lamar “Nate” Owens, 38, of New Holland, passed away unexpectedly on November 11, 2023. Born in Lancaster, he was the son of Earl Owens, Sr. (Patricia Snoke) and Sarah Schupp.

Nate attended J. P. McCaskey High School. He worked alongside his father Earl at Owen’s Improvements, LLC as a general contractor. His family and friends will remember Nate for his sense of humor, laugh, and the light he brought into the room with just a smile. He was a proud and remarkable father to Camryn and his step-children Leia and Nathan. Nate was hardworking and could always be depended on for whatever you needed. He enjoyed cooking a variety of meals and spending time outdoors fishing, camping, and golfing. He will be sorely missed by all who had the privilege to know him.

In addition to his parents, Nate is survived by his significant other Milly Gonzalez, son Camryn Owens, siblings: Florence Weeks, Earl Owens, Jr., and Jasmine Garcia (Nicholas); step-children Leia and Nathan, and a host of beloved nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends.

A service to honor and celebrate Nate will be held at 4 PM on Friday, November 17, 2023, at St. Paul’s Church of God in Christ, 215 S Queen St, Lancaster, PA 17603. The family will receive guests beginning at 2 PM until the time of the service. In lieu of flowers, please consider donations towards Camryn’s future at gofund.me/576c6ef5.

Dear Sarah and family — Please except my heart felt condolences in the passing of Nate. I  Always enjoyed spending time with him when I would see him and Camryn at Jr and Trecias house. He was such a pleasant guy and I would always  get a  ” big ole bear hug “.  Love and prayers to all of you
