Condolences to the Family

August 31, 2017

Condolences to the Gleason family over the loss of your Mother.  In the 50’s Jim was a friend of mine.  Their  Mom was a good lady who always treated me well.  I still have fond memories of watching Basketball in their cellar which had been transformed into a rec room.  Played ping pong and just generally had a great time.  Would not have been possible had it not been for your Mom.

To all the Gleasons – we have wonderful memories of both your Mom and Dad. We had special times together and shared many family reunions.  Naomi was very special especially to me, Eileen.  She was always willing to spend time with me and when Al and I got married, both she and Jack were mentors.
I have the privilege of being John’s godmother and Al and I are Jane’s godparents.  We feel so honored to be so connected. Our hearts go out to the whole Gleason family and pray that they will come to know that their Mom is at peace, with their Dad and the rest of the Phelan family.

We will always miss you,
Naomi.  Eileen & Al

Jane,
I am holding you and your family in my heart at this difficult time.

What a beautiful life. You were fortunate to have such a wonderful mother and family. You look like your mom!!
Melinda Manore

Jane, you are the spitting image of your mom.  We all should be so lucky to live until 95 years and to hit a hole in one on the golf course. You mom must have been a real character as she has spunk in her eyes in those pictures.

Jane,
Your family is in my thoughts and prayers during this difficult time.

HUGS,

My sincere condolences to all of Uncle Doc and Naomi’s children. Although our paths crossed infrequently, it was always a pleasure to see your mother,or to hear from Naomi at Christmas over the years. We were kept abreast of each other’s families through Mary Ellen.

The lovliest tribute to Naomi and Jack’s lives were the beautiful people that you all are.
I hope you are comforted knowing that she had lived a long and generally healthy life, and that you are also consoled by knowing how much joy you brought to Naomi.

Amidst the tears, I’m sure you’ll find joy and laughter with the great memories you share with each other regarding memories and life experiences with your mother.

Be certain that Naomi is now at peace, and smiling over all of  you.
You are all in my prayers.

Fondly,
Carol Hines Gleason

Jane, my thoughts and prayers are with you and your family at this time.  May you forever be blessed by the wonderful memories of your mother.  God Bless.

God Bless from Eric Utterback and family during this time.

What a remarkable woman! I knew Mrs. Gleason only through stories of her daughter, Jane, and only in recent years. But, I can see where Jane gets her love of golf and such strong family bonds.

Best wishes to all who survive the wonderful Naomi Gleason. Christmastime now will be bittersweet for you, but will serve as a reminder of the warmth and light that this beloved soul brought to the world.

Jane –
Prayers and thoughts with you and your family during this very difficult time.  I never met your mother; however, through the wonderful stories you shared, I feel like I knew her very well.  What a special lady!  You will miss her dearly, but have such fond memories that will last in your heart forever.
Take care —
Sue Hilt
