My deepest sympathy to Muriel’s family. I knew Muriel since we were little girls, went to the same sunday school, and were in the same high school class. Muriel was a talented musician, she and I were active in music, sang duets together, etc. always fun. Pleasant memories! Sincerely, Marian Becker Metzler

To Muriel’s family from her friends at Donegal Gardens @ Roots market. Muriel was a faithfull customer and friend for many decades. She shared with us her gardening and cooking tips as well as passing along Mother Earth and Organic magazines. Her presence will certainly be missed. So sorry for your loss. Treasure your memories.

To the family: Muriel and I were friends since working together as waitresses at Willow Valley and the Lancaster Country Club in the 1980’s, even though we are both Registered Nurses. Our paths would cross now and again at Roots market. I last spoke with her regarding a mutual friend this past summer. I was so shocked to see she passed away as she was always a health conscience person. She always was cheerful and had so many interests to talk about. She will be missed. Rest in peace my friend.

So shocked and sorry about Muriel’s death. She and I were friends for many years. When her eyesight was better, we played hundreds of piano duets, and continued to attend concerts together for many years, especially concerts by the Wheatland Chorale. She loved the house she built for herself, and commented frequently about items she loved that her father had made. She also spoke often about how proud she was about her grandsons. Finally, she expected to live much longer! I will miss her.

So sorry for your loss. Losing Muriel is a loss to many of her friends. I saw her often in Mt. Gretna and will miss her. She was unfailingly cheerful and friendly. She loved music and you could tell she loved being with others who did.
