Moleena Marie Smith-Veasie, 53
December 06, 2025
Moleena Marie Smith-Veasie, 53, of Lancaster, Pennsylvania, passed away unexpectedly on December 6, 2025. She was born in Oceanside, California, to Susan (Stull-Smith) Conway and Lynnel Smith.
Moleena was the beloved wife of Michael D. Veasie, whom she married on June 6, 2011, at Lake Tahoe, California. Her greatest joy in life was being the devoted mother of her daughter, Makaylen Dee (“MakD”), and she was a loving aunt to many nieces and nephews.
A true California girl at heart, Moleena loved reading, music, hot tea, the ocean, and animals. Her deep compassion for animals led her to work at several veterinary clinics, most recently at Strasburg Vet Health.
In addition to her husband, daughter, and mother, Moleena is survived by her sister, Alexis Anderson (Austin) of Normal, Illinois; brothers James Smith (Kimberly) of Bloomington, Illinois, and Thomas Conway of Toledo, Oregon; sister-in-law, Amy Phelps (Mike); and brother-in-law Dan Veasie.
She was preceded in death by her father, Lynnel Smith, and her beloved grandma Gertrude and grandfather Kenneth Stull; and paternal grandparents: Clara Douglas Smith and Carroll Thomas Smith.
A Celebration of Life will be planned at a later date. In lieu of flowers, please consider contributing to her daughter’s future. Checks or Money order can be provided to her custodian held at Edward Jones. You can hand deliver or mail a check or money order paid out to this addressee:
