Miriam Denlinger, 98
A. Miriam Denlinger, 98, formerly of Esbenshade Road, Paradise Township, died Wednesday, August 22, 2018 at the Quarryville Presbyterian Retirement Community. She was the wife of the late Harold D. Denlinger, who died in 2010.
A homemaker, she and Harold had retired from farming.
She was a member of the former Paradise Mennonite Church, where she was very involved in the sewing circle. She and Harold served as custodians at the church for over 20 years.
Miriam will be remembered for the beautiful quilts she made for her children and grandchildren, and the many comfort tops that she gifted to MCC.
Born in Paradise Township, she was the daughter of the late Emanuel C. and Ella (Witmer) Neff. Miriam is survived by three children: Carl married to Ruby (Hampton), Stanley married to Nedra (Kauffman) and Rhoda married to Allen Blank; eight grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren; a sister-in-law, Ruth Denlinger and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by a sister, Arlene Rohrer.
The funeral service will be on Monday, August 27, 2018 at 11:00 AM in the Ellingsworth Auditorium at QPRC, 625 Robert Fulton Highway, Quarryville, PA. There will be a viewing from 10:00 until 11:00 AM. Interment in Paradise Mennonite Cemetery will take place on Monday afternoon.
