Michele Marie Miller, 61
December 18, 2023
Michele Marie Miller, 61, a beloved wife, dedicated professional, and compassionate soul, departed this world suddenly on Monday, December 18, 2023. Born in Minersville, PA, Michele was the cherished daughter of the late Michael and Marie (Kohutka) Wozniski.
Michele celebrated 27 years of unwavering love and devotion with her husband, W. Joseph Miller. As a committed employee of Bird-in-Hand Corp., she spent 34 years serving as a night auditor and accountant, leaving an indelible mark on her workplace.
A steadfast parishioner of St. James Catholic Church, Michele’s faith in her Lord and Savior and the Blessed Virgin Mary was unshakeable. Her optimism, coupled with a loving and caring nature, made Michele a person who humbly served others, often anticipating their needs before they even knew them. She had a special talent for “fixing” people’s problems with a generous heart.
Michele is survived by her loving husband, Joe, and her siblings: Marilyn Frantz, wife of Albert, and brother Joseph Wozniski, husband of Joann. She is also remembered fondly by sisters-in-law Mary Miller and Laura Wozniski, as well as a host of nieces and nephews whom she adored. Michele was preceded in death by her brother, Michael Wozniski.
Family and friends are invited to pay their respects during visitation hours from 5PM to 8PM on Friday, January 19, 2024, at Charles F. Snyder Funeral Home & Crematory, 3110 Lititz Pike, Lititz, PA 17543. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11 AM, Saturday, January 20, 2024, at St. James Catholic Church, 505 Woodcrest Ave., Lititz, PA 17543. Interment will be private, held at the convenience of the family.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests contributions to be made to Water Street Rescue Mission by visiting www.wsm.org or to St. Patrick’s Soup Kitchen, 504 Mahantongo St, Pottsville, PA 17901.
Michele’s legacy of love and service will forever be cherished by those whose lives she touched. May she rest in eternal peace.

I was saddened to hear of Michelle’s passing. She was one of my very first “work” friends when I first moved to Lancaster over 35 years ago and we worked together at the Host. She was so very kind and I remember fondly the laughs we shared together, along with Rick Meshey. May she rest in peace. My sincere condolences to her family and friends.

Shell…. you are so greatly missed! I loved our late evening chats and hearing the words “you be safe driving home” before I left every single time. Your love of your family and God was apparent to all that knew you! You always spoke so fondly of Joe, as well as your nieces and nephews. You had a knack for always finding the good in people and situations. We will forever honor your memory at Bird in Hand. Personally, I’m going to try to do better at finding the positive and being a positive force, just as you were. Thanks for always being such a great friend!
