Michele Ferrarelli, 59
November 13, 1961 - December 12, 2020
Michele Ferrarelli, 59, of Lancaster, formerly of Delaware County, went home to be with the Lord on December 12, 2020 at her home with her loving family by her side. Born in Philadelphia, she was the daughter of the late John G. and Anna J. (Corwin-Piotrowski) Marchetti and the wife of 27 years to Angelo Ferrarelli.
Michele was a long-time employee of H&R Block, where she worked as a tax pro, a manager, and district administrator throughout her 14-year tenure. More recently, Michele owned and operated her own business where she handled payroll, bookkeeping, and taxes.
A devout Christian, Michele was a member of Word of Grace Mennonite Church and she regularly watched the sermons of Joseph Prince and Bertie Brits to continue her worship at home.
Michele enjoyed crocheting and cross stich and was big into Sudoku. She was a sudoku wiz and was always looking for more challenging puzzles to complete. Michele also loved traveling and cherished memories that she shared with her husband and family traveling across the West and admiring the stars in Colorado.
Of all the things she did, by far her favorite role was being a mom. Her son Rick was her pride and joy and she showed that by being a dedicated band mom to his band, Big Fat Meanies. She attended every concert, often manned the merchandise table, and was his biggest supporter.
She will be dearly missed by her beloved husband, Angelo, her adoring son Rick, her brother, John Marchetti, sisters Agnes Ross and Ann Cohen (Mike), and tons of nieces, nephews, and great-nieces and nephews. Michele is preceded in death by her parents, two brothers, Robert Marchetti and Christopher Piotrowski, and a nephew, Christopher Ross.
Due to COVID-19 restrictions, a Memorial Service will be held at a later date yet to be determined. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to Hospice & Community Care at 685 Good Drive, Box 4125, Lancaster, PA 17604.
