I wanted to say that I am sorry for your loss. Michael’s brother, Chris, is a very close friend of mine at work and I wanted to pass on my condolences to both he and his entire family for the loss of their loved one. May you be able to find comfort in knowing that friends have you in their thoughts and prayers.

I am a little late with the posting but I was so glad I was there for his service. Terri, Lisa & Ethan, Barry & Mary–there are no words to ease the pain of missing Mike. I wish there were so we could say them and go on. But time, which can be our enemy, can also be our friend.  I knew Michael since he was 4 and one thing that never changed was his laugh and his sense of humor. When Mike and I were on the same team at Wachovia, in Waterbury; I can’t tell you how many times our team was asked to "tone it down" –and that was usually because Mike said something funny and all 8 of us were laughing hysterically. I still see the little guy in his baseball uniform….he loved playing and watching. We all know how seriously Mike took the Flyers and Eagles and Phillies. I know everyone will go on; but there will always be a little piece missing and that piece is Michael.
Love,
Carol Barton

Terri,
My heart aches for you. Losing a son must be one of the hardest things to endure.
I remember Michael on Sunset Ave. playing with all the kids on the block.  He was so adorable.
Please know my prayers are with you.
May God give you His peace.

I attended grade school with Michael at Sacred Heart, and, though I haven’t seen him in twenty years, I still think about Michael’s laughter and smile.  His joy was infectious.  It says a lot that the things remembered about you twenty years later are your happiness and sense of humor.  I’m so sad to hear that his light has gone out, but the memory of him lives on.  I hope you find some comfort in knowing that he was loved far and wide.

I am so sorry for your loss.  Mike was such a fun-loving person and a very special friend.  I have so many happy memories of him when he lived in CT.  He will be greatly missed. My prayers go out to his family during this difficult time.

Terri I am so sorry for your loss.    Michael was a great person.  My favorite memory is when a bunch of us went to NY for the Rangers vs Flyers game.  There are so many good things I could say about him.   He will be greatly missed.

I wish to express my deep condolences to Mike’s family and friends. I attended grade school with Mike ("Diss") at Sacred Heart and am very saddened by the news of his passing. Reading the obituary, it sounds like Mike retained the best qualities of his childhood self. It takes a special person to do that. My thoughts and prayers are with you.

I would like to send my condolences to Mike’s family for their loss. Mike was a great guy and he left this world way sooner than he should have. I carry great memories of Mike that will always be with me. We played volleyball almost everyday in the summer during high school, he was a great guy. My prayers are with Tony and the rest of his family.

I always thought of Michael as my "baby cousin", he was the youngest in our family. He grew up to be a loving, vibrant young man who absolutely adored his son Ethan, as well as his fiance Lisa.. they were his everything. I will miss him greatly and always carry such fond memories of him. My favorite memory of him, as most already know, is the night Ethan was born and Michael came out to the waiting room to announce his son’s arrival. His HUGE, bright smile from that night will be how I will always remember my cousin. I had never seen him look so happy. Rest peacefully Michael and one day I will see you on the other side. xoxo

I am truly sorry for your loss.  Mike was one of our first buddies we had in the neighborhood when my family lived on Frederick St. , riding bikes "in the alley" behind Franklin St.  Later he was the boss of my Grandma and I at CVS, who treated my Grandma (Renie) like she was his own! Wonderful memories.

Sincerely,
Angie Haas

My condolences to his family. I used to see him at CVS. Sorry I wasn’t at the viewing, but didn’t know until weeks later.
God bless him.
