Michael J. “Rebel” Rogers, 61

Michael J. “Rebel” Rogers, 61, of Lancaster passed away on Sunday, April 10, 2016 at the Lebanon VA Hospital. Born in Bridgeton, NJ he was the son of Alice L. (Browning) Rogers and the late John N. Rogers.
Mike was a mechanic. He was a hard worker and enjoyed motorcycles. Mike proudly served in the US Navy during the Vietnam War. He was a member of the American Legion Post #34 and Amvets #19.
Surviving are two daughters, Amy and Michele Rogers and two grandchildren, Terrell Rogers and Karinna Thomas; and a step-granddaughter, Lenaya Stallworth. Also surviving are two sisters, Linda M. Rogers fiancé Steve Patterson, Sharon L. McNece wife of Roy, a brother, Dave N. Rogers husband of Sandra and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by a stepdaughter, Natasha Stallworth.
“It is what it is” – Mike was loved by many and will be greatly missed.
Funeral Services for Mike will be held at 7:30 PM on Thursday, April 14, 2016 at the Charles F. Snyder, Jr. Funeral Home & Crematory, 3110 Lititz Pike, Lititz. Friends will be received two hours prior to the service at the funeral home, from 5:30 to 7:30 PM. Interment will be private.
In lieu of flowers, contributions in Mike’s memory may be made to the St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Pl, Memphis, TN, 38105.
