Dear Marilyn and family,
We send our sympathy to all during this difficult time in your lives.
You will remember me through Raymond and Jennie Wenger. I am their son Tom’s, wife. I also remember you from many moons ago at Jaycettes in Lancaster. Seems like another lifetime ago.
We weren’t aware that you were living in DE. So much for keeping up with the neighbors.
A quick update on Jennie. Raymond passed away in May 2012 from complications due to Parkinsons disease. Jennie fell and broke her hip last Christmas. At that time she was still in their cottage, but she is currently in personal care in LutherCare in Lititz.
She is in good shape physically, but her mental state continues to decline.
I know that Jennie would send you her sympathy if she could. She remembers your family well; esp. Sean, Larry and Michele. You all provided fond memories for her and Raymond.
We hope that your own memories of Merv will help sustain you now and in the future.
Sincerely, Marian Wenger

Aunt Marilyn and family,
Thinking of you during this time! Uncle Merv meant alot to all of us! He truly was one of the greatest, caring and loving people I ever met! I’ll keep your “coffee cup” empty for the next time I see you… God Bless all of you! Heaven gained one of the finest today!!
