Just wanted to share my thoughts about Dolly for her family.  My therapy dog Beamer and I visited Dolly since she turned 99.  When we first met she was a great story teller mostly prompted by my questions about her childhood and family.  She loved to see Beamer and he always knew the way right to her room.  The last visit I made was months ago due to some urgent family needs of my own.  I wasn’t sure if she even knew i was there.  When the assistance came in to feed her lunch, I retorld all the stories Dolly had told me still wondering if she knew Beamer and i were there.  I made a comment to the assistant that I hoped she knew I had visited.  As we left the room, she slightly lifted her head and smiled at us.  Made my day.  I was so happy to have her as a friend but I know she is much happier now.  Bless you all for taking good care of her.  She was very special.
