To Mary Rose’s family,
I’d like to say it was a pleasure and a joy to meet and serve Mary Rose in the dining room at Evergreen Estates.  Mary Rose was a sweetheart, always a smile and lots of joking and banter with John Finger in the morning.  I’m smiling right now because I know how happy she must be, with her loved ones in heaven.  She fought well with her physical struggles during her stay at Evergreen Estates, always positive!  I remember how excited she was when she returned from her fishing outings, showing everyone her photo’s.  And may we all say God Bless to this wonderful US Veteran, a true pioneer.  I wish I could be at St. Mary’s for her celebration of a life lived well, she touch many lives.  I’ll be thinking of you Mary Rose!
Sincerely,
Karen Holmes (former Kitchen Manager at Evergreen Estates Retirement Community)
