Mary Margaret Snyder, 94

Mary Margaret Snyder, 94, of West Lampeter Twp., went home to the Lord on Monday, December 18, 2017.

She was born in Lancaster, the daughter of the late Andrew A. and Florence (Kahn) Hilbert. Mary’s husband of 67 years, Stanley B. Snyder, Sr., passed away in 2013.

Mary graduated from Lancaster Catholic High School, Class of 1941, and she worked as a secretary for Armstrong World Industries.

She loved the Lord. Mary was a member of Trinity Evangelical Congregational Church. In 2009 she authored a book entitled “Secrets of My Heart, The Word of God”, which was published in 2010. Mary hosted a men’s prayer breakfast at her home with her husband Stan.

Mary dearly loved her family. She enjoyed garage sales and spending the winter months in Myrtle Beach with friends.

Mary is survived by her son Stanley B. Snyder, Jr., husband of Elizabeth (Germer) of Lancaster and daughter Deborah M., wife of Thomas Brosey of Lancaster; three grandchildren: Christopher Brosey, husband of Steph, Danna, wife of Ted Feigenbaum and Dawn, wife of Aaron Ruppert; and six great-grandchildren, Noah, Sophie, Eva, Abby, Molly and Kate. Her siblings, Raymond, Leo and Jean preceded Mary in death.

A memorial service will be held in Mary’s memory at Trinity Evangelical Congregational Church on Friday, December 22, 2017 at 6:30 PM, with Rev. Bruce E. Sellers officiating.
