My dear neighbor, Mary. She was so loving toward my son in Lancaster since he was born. Always had cookies and wonderful stories to tell. She was very special to us. She made the best cabbage casserole and apple dumplings.
She had such a good heart. I’m happy to hear that she met someone to share her love of life with.
I am very sad to hear of her passing. She was committed to her church and workshops. God will take good care of her.
i did not know her new husbands family. My condolences are with Shawn and Theresa, as well as her husband.
always,
melissa Solomon and Seth

To the McFadden and Shiavone families:  I am so very heartbroken to hear of Mary’s passing.  She was such a special friend to me.  She was the first to welcome me and offer a place at her table at the St. John Neumann Bazaar workshops.  She taught me so much, to love and be thankful for everything, not to mention how to make Granny squares.  These past few months have been the happiest I have seen her.  I will miss her so very much.  Sleep sweet my dear friend.

Aunt Mary was the most kind, gentle, and fun-loving of the Weiss women. I enjoyed her gracious and generous disposition thru out my life. I will miss her dearly. She showed me how to enjoy life to the fullest and every day I will continue to  celebrate her spirit.
With fondest regard,

Dear Shawn and Therese, We were so sorry to read of your mom’s passing. You have mine and Kim’s sincere condolences. Some of us from Sioux Drive remembered her not long ago when I mentioned on Facebook that I had just made her pasta casserole. She was such a lovely lady, the epitome of that overused term.
Hugs to all of you.
