Mary Lou Good, 87, of Lancaster, went to be with The Lord on June 22, 2025, after passing at Providence Place in Lancaster.

Born in Manheim, she was the daughter of the late Warren and Grace Engle Shirk. Mary Lou worked initially for Bell Telephone as an operator and then for Verizon as an office worker until her retirement.

She loved all kinds of animals, with her cats being an important part of her life. She had also been an active member of the Millersville VFW Post 7294 Ladies Auxiliary.

Mary Lou is survived by her two nephews, Eric and Doug Shirk. She was preceded in death by her brother Warren Shirk and her sister, Jane Shirk.
