Mary Elizabeth Adams Bloom Stark, 89

Mary E. Stark, 89 and former Cabbage Hill resident and a lifelong resident of Lancaster County, entered into the Promised Land on December 19, 2014 at LutherCare, Lititz, PA.
Mary was one of four daughters borne of the marriage of the late Robert Houston Adams and the late Evelyn Marrow Adams.
She was predeceased by her first husband, John William Bloom, her second husband, Earl Leroy Stark and sisters Esther Eugenie Adams Wise and Evelyn Roberta Adams Pfautz. Surviving are her three children, William George Bloom, Susan E. Bloom Woerner and Thomas Douglas Bloom. A sister, Dorothy Marie Adams Barr, wife of Clarence, 7 grand children, 10 great-grandchildren and 3 great-great-grandchildren, plus nieces and nephews.
In her younger days and even into her retirement years, Mary loved dancing to Big Bands and attended dances from Chester County to York County. She was employed for many years at the former Schick Electric and the former Armstrong Closure Plant. She was also active in the Sing-Out Lancaster organization in the 1960s. In later years, she enjoyed selling Avon Products to many of her English and Amish neighbors after moving to the Gordonville area in the mid 1970s.
There will be no viewing but friends and relatives can attend a celebration of Mary’s life “Sauerday”, January 3, 2014 at 11:30AM. Visitation begins at 10:30AM at the Luther Acres Chapel, located at 400 St. Luke Drive, Lititz, PA. Interment will be at the convenience of the family. The family thanks the LutherCare Agape Way staff for the loving care they have provided to our Mamie for the last several years. Dear Bill and Dot…My very deepest sympathies to you guys. I so loved our little Mame. She was little sweetheart. I miss her every day because I always helped her at supper time. Of course every night at supper is a reminder to me that she is….for her…in abetter place. I planned to come up today to visitaion but was not happy wish the weather forcasted. Again thanks for the time I got share her with you.
