Dear Schiavone family,
My deepest sympathy to all of you.  I have many, many fond memories of Claire in high school – she was the first person I met my first day at LCHS. Even back then, her family was so important to her and she definitely was a very good friend to me.  Unfortunately as so often happens, our lives took different paths and I didn’t see her very much after graduation, but would run into her occasionally and she was always the same, sweet Claire.  Heaven has definitely gained an angel.  My thoughts and prayers are with you all.

To her husband Alex, Dad, Mike and all her sisters and brother Mike, Jr. I send my personal sympathy to each and everyone of you in the death of Mary Clare. I remember Clare well, having worked in the rectory fo St. Anne Church for 40 yrs, both buildings. A quiet young lady she was, but a loving person. She lived close to me at one time  before marriage, i.e. 300 block of E. New St. in the city here. Clare often came to the office to help me with things which was many having the large large parish. To you Mike, I know and feel  your pain as a parent loosing a child. 12/03/012 I lost my second child, a daughter Jean Marie, 3 days after her 58 birthday and 12/20/75 a son who died on his 24th birthday. Both Angels in heaven. M. Clare is with her mother Izzy;, whom I knew so well. Mike, you may know my sister Mary McFadden, 341 VB Drive who lives close to you.May Mary Clare Rest In Peace and In the Arms of the Lord. Blessings to the whole family. Rita R. Boyer

“Nothing you love is lost. Not really. Things, people–they always go away sooner or later. You can’t hold them anymore than you can hold moonlight. But if they’ve touched you, if they’re inside you, then they’re still yours. The only things you ever really have are the ones you hold inside your heart.” – Bruce CovilleClaire touched me personally with engaging, often funny emails for a time after Aunt Isabelle passed.  She was a truly beautiful person – just like her Mom and Dad, brother and sisters. You all are in my thoughts and prayers frequently at this time.  I am realizing that it is truly after an unexpected death like this that we realize how greatly we were blessed to have known that person.  I feel very blessed.
With warm love and affection,
Cousin Chris Waldenmaier

Dear Terri and Family,
It is so heartbreaking to learn of you sister’s passing.  May God comfort you during this time of grief and fill your hearts with His promise of everlasting peace with Him in heaven.  Your sister is enjoying that now.  I saw Claire’s beautiful face and smile in the paper and thought how familiar she looked….then when I read, I realized she was your baby sister, Terri.  You alwarys radiated that beauty in your eyes and smile.  May wonderful memories of times with Claire, bring the smiles to all your faces again.Love and Prayers, from your old classmate,
