Martin G. Young, 74

Martin G. Young, 74, of 3223 Columbia Ave., Lancaster, died Saturday at Homestead Village.

Born in Columbia, he was the son of the late Martin L. and Marguerite A. Nikolaus) Young.

Martin had been a partner in his family business, Young’s Mobile Home Park, on Columbia Ave., for over 25 years. Prior to this, he had worked at the Fulton Bank for 20 years.

He was a member of St. Leo The Great Catholic Church.

He was a member of the Elks Club #134 of Lancaster, and the Wheatland Sertoma. He enjoyed traveling all over the world, and enjoyed gourmet food and fine dining.

He is survived by: a sister, Audrey A. Doerr of Lancaster; a nephew Michael G. Doerr of Lancaster; and 2 nieces: Debra A. Doerr married to Benjamin Nieto of Lancaster, and Kinberly L. Dietrich of East Petersburg. He was preceded in death by a brother, Donald C. Young, and a sister Arlene A. Dietrich.

Friends will be received on Tuesday from 7-8PM at the Charles F. Snyder Funeral Home, 414 E. King St., Lancaster, PA. Friends may call again on Wednesday at St. Leo The Great Catholic Church, 2427 Marietta Ave., Lancaster, PA from 9:30-10AM, with Mass to follow at 10AM. Interment in Holy Trinity Catholic Cemetery.
