Dear Helen and Family,
We are saddened to hear of your loss. We offer you our deepest condolences, and pray that Our Lord and Our Lady may comfort you at this difficult time.
My husband Joe is Rose (Schreder) Strosser’s son. We live in Ephrata with our two children, Matthew and Alexa. We had many times see Marty serve at St. Joe. He was a great man from all the service he gave to the church, and althought I did not know him personally, I am sure he was a great family man also.
Again, our deepest sympathy at this time.

Marty, I am so saddened to hear of your loss. It’s been many years since I’ve seen your family, but the memory I have is of much laughter. Be assured of our prayers for you and your family during this most difficult time, along with prayers for the happy repose of the soul of your dad.
May the angels lead him into paradise; may the martyrs receive him at his arrival, And lead him to the holy city Jerusalem. May the choirs of angels receive him, And with Lazarus, once poor, May he have eternal rest.
May our good God bless you abundantly.

Dear Helen and family, I was saddened to learn of Marty’s death, even though it’s been more than half a century since we shared a McCaskey High School homeroom together (Mr. Hillegas, Biology teacher. Marty was always a lively and exuberant personality in the homeroom and a most memorable contributor to high school life and fun.
Since August of 1968 I’ve lived in Coogee, NSW, a suburb of Sydney, Australia where I’ve worked as a clinical psychologist and academic at The University of New South Wales. I stay in touch with some of my Lancastrian friends via Facebook and try to get back to my home roots every few years.
I wish you well in this very difficult time. My condolences are heartily extended to you and all in your family.
Sincerely,
Fred
