Marshall L. Fair, 83

September 4, 1941 - November 15, 2024

Marshall L. Fair, of Lancaster, entered eternal rest on November 15, 2024. He was 83. Born on September 4, 1941, in Reading, he was the son of Raymond Fair and Mildred Worden. He cherished over 62 years of marriage with Catherine C. (Horney) Fair.

He spent over 15 years working for Hamilton Watch Company, holding various positions and participating in production planning. Many will remember Marshall as the owner and security technician of Fenn-Fair Security Services, which he maintained for over 30 years. In his spare time he enjoyed hunting, watching football, and woodcarving.

He will be sorely missed by his wife Cathy, their children, Mark S. Fair, husband of Leisa of Coudersport, Patrick M. Fair, husband of Mary Kay of Conestoga, Christopher J. Fair, of St. Mary’s, GA, and Matthew R. Fair, husband of Karmen, of Martinsburg, VA, grandchildren, Lauren, Rebekah, Sarah, Anna, and Blaine, as well as his siblings, John “Chip” Worden (Brenda) of Landisville, and Shari Adam of Vidalia, GA. He was preceded in death by his father, Raymond Fair, his mother, Mildred Worden, his brother, Barry Fair, and his stepfather, John Worden.

The family welcomes guests to a visitation on Wednesday, November 20, 2024, at the Charles F. Snyder Jr. Funeral Home & Crematory, 3110 Lititz Pike, Lititz, PA 17543, from 10 AM to 12PM, with a funeral service beginning at 12 PM. Interment to follow at Holy Cross Cemetery in Lebanon, PA. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.

Marshall will be greatly missed. He (and his boys) provided awesome family memories while spending time at the “Lucky Eight” hunting camp with my father (and my brothers). I know that he and my father are rejoicing in heaven and I anxiously await the day I can see them again. God bless you Cathy, Mark, Pat, Chris and Matt!

Hello my name is Bill Germinario,I am a long time friend of Chris Fair. Over the years of our friendship I have had the pleasure to meet and spend some time with Marshall. We have been on fishing trips and other occasions with the family.His dedication to the family always came first. I have even had the pleasure to enjoy some of his wonderful woodworking projects, absolutely amazing work. My wife Charlene and I send our condolences to all your family during this difficult time. So very sorry to learn of Marshall’s passing. He was a special person with many talents and had a good heart.  I will always remember our childhood times and was blessed to be able to continue our friendship with Marshall and Kathy through the years.
