Mark E. Lapp, 63

April 22, 2024

Mark E. Lapp, age 63, passed away on April 22, 2024 at his residence. Born in Lancaster, he was the son of the late J. Thomas and S. Irene (Walker) Lapp.

Graduated from Conestoga Valley High School 1978 he has remained loyal to his Lancaster County roots.

From the time he could walk, Mark was fascinated by anything with wheels. As a young boy, he loved putting together model cars and trucks. He became an avid collector of the sports cars with the fast engines. Mark’s love of cars led him to becoming the owner of Absolute Towing. When not working, he enjoyed spending his time outdoors riding his Harley & watching the Eagles football games with his friends. He grew to be an avid animal lover and loved his cats which gave him peace in stressful times.

With a heart of gold he had so much compassion for others and would help anyone in need. He will definitely be missed. God definitely has a truly amazing Angel by his side. Prayers to his family. RIP my dear brother and friend.

Mark is survived by his siblings: Debbie Morgan (wife of Tim) and Tom Lapp, both of Lancaster; his nieces and nephews: Tim Morgan, Jr., Casey Morgan, and Nathan Morgan; and his two great nieces: Emerson Weidman and Paislee Weidman and 2 uncles: Allen Walker & Charles (Ozzie) Uhland.

Family will receive friends Monday, April 29, 2024 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at Charles F. Snyder Funeral Home, 2421 Willow Street Pike, Willow Street, PA. 17584 with a celebration of Mark’s life to begin at 10am.

In lieu of flowers, donations in Mark’s name may be made to the ASPCA, http://www.aspca.org.

What a person! I will never forget. I found his phone one time+he thanked me so much. He towed my truck to the garage for a new fuel pump+refused to bill me. Hard to find Good People like him anymore. God is our guiding light! Mark was a wonderful man!

Hugs to you, Mark.  You and Tom were closer to Rhett’s age and you guys had more fun together, but I still remember having lots of fun in your family pool when we were little kids and our families would get together.  Rest well, cousin.

My sincerest sympathy to Mark’s family and friends.  Mark was such a kind, compassionate young man! Would always be willing to help his friends in need.  I cried when I heard of your passing.   So very glad you were a good friend to my sons and their friends.  Was always looking for you in that Dodge Ram truck.  Did not know if you still had it.Rest in Peace Mark.  Your parents raised a fine young man💕
