Marion L. Millar, 95, of Lititz passed away Thursday April, 27, 2017 at Lancaster General Hospital. She was the wife of the late William H. Millar who passed away in 1999.
Born in Portage, PA she was a daughter of the late John and Grace (Shaw) Strachan. Marion worked for RCA for over 40 years and was an avid reader, enjoyed traveling especially to Scotland and to Rehoboth Beach. Marion also enjoyed eating at the Lititz Family Cupboard, shopping and was Lutheran by faith.
She is survived by her children Debra Bergman and Jere Buckwalter, husband of Pamela both of Lititz, William McCauliff, husband of Elaine of Johnstown, PA, Barbara Ganz of Atlanta, GA and Billie Ann Hoffman of Cleveland, OH; eight grandchildren Shea, wife of Chris Zebert, Brad Bergman, Chad Buckwalter, husband of Chelsea, Jennifer, wife of Jared Eichelberger, Ashley, wife of Justin Martin, Erin McCauliff, Frank Ganz and Jennifer Ganz; five great-grandchildren; one brother William Strachan, husband of Shirley and one sister Jane Oleksak both of Johnstown, PA. Marion was preceded in death by a daughter Betty McCauliff, one brother Jack Strachan and one sister Betty Rupert.
Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, May 3, 2017 at 11AM from the Charles F. Snyder, Jr. Funeral Home & Crematory, 3110 Lititz Pike, Lititz, PA 17543. Interment will be held in Longenecker’s Cemetery. A viewing will be held from 10AM until the time of her service at the funeral home.
