Marilyn S. (Sapita) Gochnauer, 79, of East Petersburg, PA, passed away peacefully at home on Wednesday, July 30, 2025, surrounded by her loving family. She was the beloved wife of Sidney “Sid” Gochnauer, with whom she shared many cherished years of marriage.

She also found great joy in cooking and was especially known for her famous filling and corn pudding. Her greatest joy, however, was spending time with her family.
In addition to her husband, Sid, Marilyn is survived by her son, Adam, husband of Angie, of East Petersburg; her grandson, Harrison; and her sisters, Pat and Lucy of Connecticut. She was preceded in death by four sisters and a brother.
Interment will be private at Indiantown Gap National Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Caring Hospice at 101 Good Drive, Suite 1, Lancaster, PA 17603.
