So many years have past but I still have fond memories of Hollie and Louis running around Neffsville Park at the back to school picnic. Talking to Marilyn was always a joy, the love for her children shined through her smile and she was so proud of their accomplishments. Her time here was to short but her kindness will always be remembered.
May some of these memories comfort you during this sad time.

Dear Mike and Family: I want so add my condolences to those who knew Marilyn. Due to time and distance I never had that opportunity. Aunt Patty has told me a few things about her and your children. I was sad to hear she had ALS. I know about this disease from friends with relatives who have suffered with it. I hope it gives you comfort to know that she is no longer suffering. And when you see her again, which you will,  she will be well and whole.
With love and sympathy to you and your family, Your Cousin, Cathy (Johnston) Hanawalt.

Cousin Mike and Family:  I was sorry to hear of the passing of your wife and mother. Time and distance get in the way of keeping in contact with family members. Although I never had the opportunity to know her, I understand from reading some of the other messages, and talking with Aunt Patty, that she was a super soccor-mom, and a runner and involved with many other activities. Then she was struck with the tragedy of ALS. I am so sad she had to endure the terrile disease. I pray you will take comfort in knowing that she in now free from pain and suffering. When you see her again she will be whole.
With love, sympathy and prayers,
Cathy (Johnston) Hanawalt
