Marilyn E. Penna, 71, of Lancaster, PA, passed away on Monday, August 22, 2016 at her residence.
She was the wife of the late Joseph P. Penna, who passed away in 2009. Born in Pottsville, she was the daughter of the late Thomas and Mary Halpin.
Marilyn had been co-owner of Action Mobile Surface Cleaning Co. of Lancaster with her late husband, and now her son, Joe.
She was a member of St. John Neumann Catholic Church.
Marilyn enjoyed taking care of her yard, liked to shop, and loved spending time with her children and grandchildren.
She is survived by her son Joseph P., Jr., husband of Barbara Penna of Columbia and her daughter, Kimberly A. Good of Lancaster; her 5 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren; and by her brother, Thomas Halpin of Pottsville.
Friends will be received on Friday, August 26, 2016 at St. John Neumann Catholic Church, 601 E. Delp Rd., Lancaster, PA from 10-11AM, with the Mass to follow at 11AM. Interment will be private in Landis Valley Mennonite Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, please make contributions in Marilyn’s memory to Hospice & Community Care, 685 Good Drive, Box 4125, Lancaster, PA 17604-4125.

Ma~ I miss you SOO MUCH! You were the Best Mom Ever! You always put others before yourself. Especially when it came to your family, especially Me & Joey. We couldn’t have had a more loving, caring, thoughtful Mom! You were *Always* there for me No Matter What. You are at peace, now, & with Dad, again! Rest In Peace, Mom, & GOD BLESS!
