Marie M. (Hilbert) Waller

Marie M. (Hilbert) Waller of Lancaster died Sunday, March 27, 2016 at St. Anne’s Retirement Community, Columbia.

A lifelong resident of Lancaster County, she was the wife of the late Glenn W. Waller, Jr, who died May 27, 1992. She was the daughter of the late John and Agnes (Stockbauer) Hilbert.

Marie was employed by Hamilton Watch during World War II.

She was a member of St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church, and a former member of St. Joseph’s Catholic Church in Lancaster.

Marie is survived by a son, John T. Waller and his wife Cindy of Conestoga; 3 grandchildren; 3 great-grandchildren; and 4 sisters and their husbands: Carol and William Meluskey of Willow Street; Janet and Joseph Rudy and Patricia and Lee Lefever, all of Lancaster; and Susan and Raymond Hottenstein of Ronks. She was preceded in death by a son, Glenn W. Waller III; 3 sisters: Elsie Heiney, Jean Albright, and Joanne Hilbert; and one brother, John Hilbert.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11 AM Friday, April 1, 2016 at St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church, 501 E. Orange St, Lancaster with the Rev. Deogratias Rwegasira as Celebrant. Friends will be received at the church one hour prior to the service. Burial will be in St. Joseph New Catholic Cemetery.
