Marian Madonna, 84

December 19, 2017

Marian Madonna, 84, of Millersville, passed away Tuesday, December 19th, 2017 with her loving daughter by her side. Marian had spent her final months at Conestoga View Nursing Home and she and her family are eternally grateful for the wonderful staff on the second floor and physical therapy department that helped care for her.
Born in Widtsoe, Utah to the late Feldon and Erlean Gleave, she was one of seven children. While out west she met her husband of 23 years, the late Donald Madonna, and gave birth to three kids. Marian was a long time employee of J.L. Clark manufacturers but her real passions were solving puzzles in the paper and reading historical novels about pioneer times.
Marian loved her family with her whole heart and soul unconditionally. She is survived by her daughter Tammy (Tom) Podlesny, of Conestoga, two brothers and two sisters, all of Utah, six grandchildren, and six great grandchildren. Marian is preceded in death by her husband, Donald, children, Steven and Nadine, and her twin brothers.
Services will be held at St. Joseph New Catholic Cemetery on Wednesday, December 27th, 2017 at 11AM officiated by The Rev. Allen Wolfe.

My sincere condolences to the entire family!!  Tammy, I just found out about your mother’s passing and send you love and hugs. You were a good daughter, taking such good care of her these last several years.  Honestly,  girl, you missed your calling!! ❤
Tammy, you are the spitting image of your mother, visually and emotionally.  Knowing she loved crossword puzzles so much, I wonder if she and my mother are occupying the same area, sitting with their readers on, doing puzzles and laughing at all of us. One can hope.
May you find peace and comfort in your memories of her. God bless, love you.

Tammy & family:
It is with deepest sympathies that I send my condolences.  Aunt Marian was ALWAYS the sweetest, happiest lady I’d ever known.  She was kind, loving and graceful.  She always greeted me with a big hug and left me feeling better than before I saw her.  I will fondly remember her smile and warmth.
Please know that I am praying for you and your family during this time of sorrow.  I know I speak for my mom and brothers when I say Aunt Marian’s passing leaves us hurting and mournful.  She will truly be missed.
If I can do anything to help during this difficult time, please let me know.
With Love,
Gina Fellenbaum Wilson
