Marian E. “Charlie” Adair, 73, of Manheim, passed away on Tuesday, April 25, 2017.
Born in Manheim, PA, she was the daughter of the late Mahlon and Mary (Haldeman) Adair.
Marian enjoyed gardening, watching movies, traveling throughout the world to such exotic places as Cancun, Dominican Republic, and Mexico. Charlie loved taking cruises with her life partner, Barry. She loved all animals, and treasured rescuing cats. Marian will be remembered for being a great cook, friend and loving mom. Charlie was loved by all.
In addition to her rock of almost 20 years, Barry Gast, Marian is survived by her children: Brian Snavely married to Cynthia, of Peach Bottom; Erica Brown, married to Steve, of Mt. Joy; stepchildren: Stephen H., Kimberbly A., Georgiann, Heather A. and Kenneth Scott; siblings: Richard Adair, of Lititz, Carl Eugene Adair, husband of Patricia, of Stevens, Darlene Verno, wife of Joseph, of Cornville, AZ and Joanne King of Columbia. She is also survived by her niece, Stacy Adair Smith of Denver.
Funeral Service will be held on Sunday, May 7, 2017 at 3PM the Charles F. Snyder Jr. Funeral Home & Crematory, 3110 Lititz Pike, Lititz, PA. Family and friends will be received one hour prior to the service. Interment will be private at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers, please make contributions in Marian’s memory to Pet Pantry, 26 Millersville Rd, Lancaster, PA 17603 or Hospice and Community Care, PO Box 4125, Lancaster, PA 17604. The family encourages casual, tropical attire. Please no black clothing.
