Just saw this.  Am so sorry.   She was a great friend.  I worked with her at Kellogg and will miss hearing from her.

Great Aung Peg was a loving Sister, Aunt, Great Aunt and a fellow Sportswomen who cherished the outdoors and it’s many blessings. As I reflect on her passing today I pay homage to the bountiful outdoor experiences that so enrich the tapestry of my spiritual being and am truly thankful for the opportunity to witness the beautiful artistry of the sun rising slowly over the marsh, as the sound of wind whistling through the feathers of beating wings can be heard in the chilled darkness overhead, as waterfowl take early flight. I am thankful for that first snap of a brittle twig, which can be heard in the chilled, dark fall morning, as a wary buck stealthily makes its way through the autumn colored woods. I am thankful for the amazing rush of energy you feel when a tom gobbles back from its roost in the early morning hours. I am thankful for the rise of the heft brook trout toward a well casted fly. And observe the awesome white tornado of a few thousand squawking downward funneling snow geese, as the spill air from their wings and descend into a grain field, is to bear witness to the majesty of Mother Nature.
All of these magical outdoor experiences truly allow me to behold the wonders and bounty that our Heavenly Father so lovingly provides and will always remind me of Great Aunt and her passion for the outdoors and for those experiences. She was very grateful for opportunities to spend time in a tree stand or even the cover of a shed with a friend, waiting out a deer or harvest a turkey. She always dreamed to travel out west to Jackson Hole Wyoming to hunt Elk or Mule Deer, but never made it.

So every time I sit in the marsh before first light, and hear those wings; or listen as a twig snaps when a deer approaches my stand…I will think of Aunt Peg. One of these days, perhaps I will travel to Jackson Hole Wyoming. I know she will be looking down from the heavens above smiling as I sight in a bull elk in her memory.  I will miss you Great Aunt Peg – Rest in Peace as you take your seat in the great blind in the sky with the Lord as your guide. Jason C. (Great Nephew)

To the family of Peg Flick:  As a former friend and supervisor of Peg at Kelloggs, I thank you for sharing such a wonderful gifted person with us for all the years she worked at Kelloggs.  She was a very good worker, and always ready to help others who needed her help.  May God continue to comfort you through this most challenging time.
Sincerely,
Rev Dawn Harmon
